Record each charge with its currency, quantity basis, source and date. Product cost may change with the variant. Domestic shipping is different from international delivery. Currency conversion and payment charges can also change the amount you pay. Do not mix a CNY listing with a USD note without recording how the conversion was obtained.
Do not turn unknown into zero
A blank international shipping quote is not free shipping. Record it as pending until the route and packed weight are available. Use a personal maximum budget and decide whether missing costs prevent a decision. We do not publish fixed Hoobuy fees, tax thresholds, exchange rates or a delivery estimate.
Check what a payment does
Before paying, identify whether you are adding account balance, paying for an item or funding an international parcel. Save the amount and payment receipt privately. A balance credit is not proof of an item purchase; an order cancellation is not proof of a refund to the original payment method.

Use the platform’s live payment and fee pages, then check destination guidance. The UK government explains that import charges and correct declarations can apply; other destinations have their own rules. A provider’s displayed quote is the place to verify current amounts, not this guide.
